Normal way from the Col de Tentes

All: T3- If there is a layer of frozen snow on the pass, crampons are essential and a pick is recommended.
Rock: 1 An easy, short climb at one point below the breach.
Via Ferrata: A A chain is in place for safety whilst crossing a subglacial stream before the hut.
Way quality:
  Clearly defined path all the way to the hut. Sturdy footwear is recommended for the crossing of the stream. After passing the hut you reach a steep, largely scree moraine. After this you traverse a small area of glacial residue. Beyond this lies scree and rocks. Snow possible.

Ascent (↑): 620m 620m from Col de Tentes; 220m from the Brèche Refuge
Way (↑+↓): 10.2km 10.2km from Col de Tentes; 1.4km from the Brèche Refuge
Time (↑+↓): 4:30 2:30 hrs ascent, 2 hrs descent (if snow on pass +30 mins)
